Frozen is a 2010 horror film directed by Adam Green and stars Emma Bell, Kevin Zegers and Shawn Ashmore as a group of three friends who slowly die while being trapped on a ski lift for 5 entire days with no food, water, help or phones. The film was shot at Snowbasin near Ogden, Utah in February 2009 and is distributed by Anchor Bay Entertainment. The film premiere was in January 2010 at the Sundance Film Festival and it was released on February 5, 2010, with a distribution from Anchor Bay Entertainment. Frozen was also part of the Grace Festival at Tower Theatre is Salt Lake and is part of the Glasgow FrightFest. In late January 2010 the film had Multiple screens in areas in Boston, New York, Los Angeles, Salt Lake City, Dallas, Denver, Philadelphia, Minneapolis, and Chicago. The film premiered on 5 February 2010 with the total cast and crew at Mann Chinese 6 on Hollywood Blvd. The film has received mixed reviews and currently holds a 50% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, based on 52 reviews. Among Rotten Tomatoes’ “Top Critics”, the film has an aggregated rating of 26%. It was nominated as one of the best horror films 2009 for the Saturn Awards. Source
